Holdrege Area Genealogy Club

The Holdrege Area Genealogy Club is an active organization that not only helps interested people in their genealogy and family history, but they also serve a vital role at the Nebraska Prairie Museum's Don O. Lindgren Genealogy Library.

The Club also finds our deceased Phelps County Veterans from the Civil War; Spanish-American War; WWI; WWII; and the Korean War that do not have relatives living in the area. We honor these forgotten Phelps Veterans by adding their names to the Holdrege Veteran Memorial located in Holdrege's Veteran Memorial Park.

Over the last 45 years, dedicated volunteers have saved and filed a large collection of not only Phelps County history, but history from the entire surrounding area and state. We are happy to help anyone researching their family, farm, home, town, church or anything else! Most of the information printed in the Museum's Stereoscope newsletter and also the Genealogy Club's quarterly Phelps Helps newsletter comes from this wonderful library.

Please help us preserve our heritage by supporting our Genealogy Club!

**With a donation of just $15 or more, you will get the Club's quarterly
newsletter and know that our local history will be taken care of
for future generations.
