Holdrege Area Early Childhood Partnership Inc

The Holdrege Area Early Childhood Partnership (HAECP) is a nonprofit working to strengthen early childhood care and education across Holdrege and Phelps County. We believe child care is economic development. When families can count on quality care, parents can go to work, businesses can grow their workforce, and our whole community gets stronger.

In our area, 80% of children under 6 live in homes where both parents work. That makes child care just as essential as roads, schools, and broadband! HAECP bridges the gap between families, providers, and local businesses through partnerships that make care more accessible and more sustainable.

Our work includes incentive programs that help local centers offer infant care and extended hours, grant support that helps providers grow and improve their spaces, and initiatives that recruit substitute caregivers so providers can take a much needed break. Every dollar raised this give2GROW season helps us keep care available beyond the typical workday, so working families in our community have the support they need, whenever they need it.
