The Holdrege Police Department is committed to serving the community in a variety of ways. We enforce both state and local laws to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents. Beyond law enforcement, we take a proactive approach through community engagement programs and strategic initiatives. We strongly believe in the principles of community policing and work closely with citizens to build trust and foster collaboration.

Our officers are actively involved in the local school systems—providing traffic control, participating in the DARE program, attending sporting events, and supporting various student activities. Additionally, we play a vital role in community events by leading parades and charity runs, and maintaining a visible, supportive presence at concerts, festivals, and other large gatherings.
