Little Seeds of Faith

Immanuel Little Seeds of Faith is a nonprofit preschool located within the walls of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Bertrand, NE. It was planned and developed as a service for the families in and around the Bertrand area communities. The Little Seeds of Faith preschool has been in existence since August of 2001.

The philosophy of Little Seeds of Faith is to provide education in a developmentally appropriate environment that will enhance the growth of each attending child. Childhood should be a time of fun, warmth, security, exploring and discovery. Little Seeds strives to provide a program that allows children to be creative and receptive, while nurturing and encouraging these qualities. Coupled with planting seeds of faith, belief in God, and a focus on Jesus as our Savior, our children will be ready to take off and grow in the world.

The curriculum includes sharing and conversation time; stories, songs, and finger plays; creative art activities and crafts; games and large muscle activities; exposure to shapes, colors, numbers, and letters; and celebration of birthdays and holidays.
