The Midtown Sculpture Garden grew out of a desire to enhance downtown Holdrege by providing a public space for the enjoyment of all residents and visitors. This space, which is in the heart of our downtown area, features a hard surface with trees, a variety of sculptures, benches as well as tables and chairs.  A mural, depicting a gorgeous Nebraska sky is a beautiful backdrop to the garden.

Many people have requested that the Midtown Sculpture Garden provide a shade component to this beautiful space.  We have been working with Crouch Recreation and have come up with a design that will provide shade during the middle of the day.  The cost of this shade will be approximately $22,000.
