give2GROW is a giving day hosted annually by the Phelps County Community Foundation. On Thursday, November 13, PCCF will host the 14th annual give2GROW, and we invite you to participate in this charitable giving event designed to connect donors to the organizations doing impactful and vital work in Phelps County.
In 2024, over $1 million was distributed to 85 participating organizations. During the past twelve years of the event, nearly $11 million has been raised through give2GROW to support local nonprofits.
The 14th Annual give2GROW is Thursday, November 13, 2025, from Midnight - 11:59 p.m.
Since 1976, the Phelps County Community Foundation has grown from $300,000 to over $30 million in charitable funds. PCCF proudly serves as Phelps County's primary resource for charitable giving.
Early giving starts on October 13, 2025, and lasts for one month. This period allows you more time to learn about nonprofits and make your donations.
What are the eligibility requirements to participate in give2GROW?

Organizations that are ineligible to participate are those engaged in religious and political activities, churches, private foundations, and those not serving Phelps County.

Do we have to pay to participate?
The Phelps County Community Foundation hosts give2GROW to fulfill our mission to support Phelps County nonprofits, so there is no fee to participate. We ask that you devote time and energy to promoting your nonprofit's participation in give2GROW through your organization's social media networks or any other communication tools you currently use to reach your donors. If you choose to purchase advertising, that will be at the expense of your organization.
The Phelps County Community Foundation will work with local media and utilize our own social media networks to promote give2GROW. All participating organizations will have access to various marketing tools available on the official give2GROW website www.give2growphelps.org on the Nonprofit Toolkit page. If there is something specific you think we need to add, please feel free to contact the Foundation staff at 308-995-6847, and we will try to accommodate your request.
How do nonprofits register to participate?
Go to www.give2growphelps.org and make sure your organization is eligible to participate. If you feel you are, then go ahead and start the registration process through the website here. Of course, if you have any questions, we are here to help!
What is the deadline to register for give2GROW?
The deadline to register for give2GROW is August 30th. Once we receive notice that you would like to participate, we review all of your information and approve your donation page. You will be able to make edits to your profile if needed. Please allow 2-3 business days for review of your registration and approval.
How can we make give2GROW a success for our organization?
Spread the word and promote, promote, promote! We have compiled a wide variety of marketing materials that you can use for your organization. All of them are available on www.give2growphelps.org/p/npo-toolkit. Please don't wait to start promoting give2GROW to your donors and constituents and take advantage of every opportunity to talk about it. If you have a newsletter or do e-blasts, make sure you include give2GROW in them. Social media is a powerful tool so use it!
Is there a limit to the number of donations our organization can receive?
No! give2GROW is designed to be a supplemental fundraising opportunity for participating nonprofits. It is not intended to replace gifts typically made to a nonprofit during its regular fundraising campaigns. Organizations are not allowed to donate to themselves.
How can we promote give2GROW?
What a great question! We appreciate any promotion of give2GROW that you do for your donors – direct mailings, newsletters, social media, your organization's website, telephone solicitation, and word of mouth. Once you have registered, your organization will have its URL on the give2growphelps.org site, so use it in your promotions. The more you include give2GROW in your communications, the more successful your organization will secure donations. Remember, you typically get out of give2GROW what you put into it!
Do we need to create our marketing materials for give2GROW?
Phelps County Community Foundation has created several items that you can use and the give2GROW logo in case you want to design your own. You'll find these materials here. There are also samples of news releases, social media posts, and direct mailings that you can use to create your own messaging.
When can we start promoting give2GROW?
We would encourage you to promote give2GROW about seven weeks before the event or around October 1st. Promoting give2GROW can be through social media, emails, newsletters, or any direct mailing campaigns your organization may choose to do.
Can we provide prizes, incentives, or gifts to encourage donations?
No. For donations to be 100% tax-deductible, donors cannot receive an incentive of value or discounts that may prompt them to give.
How much of the donation will go to the nonprofit?
**Exciting Announcement for 2025!** We are thrilled to announce that the Phelps County Community Foundation will cover all fees—transaction, platform, and processing—for give2GROW 2025! This means that every dollar of your donation—whether made online or offline—will go directly to the nonprofit organizations you wish to support.

How will an organization know who has donated to them?
Organizations can track donations in real time by logging into their organization account. Organization admins will also receive an email notification for every donation. You can change your notification settings within your user account.
Nonprofits can download a detailed donation report at any time through their account to thank and follow-up with individual donors and tabulate donation value and number of donors. This .csv file can be used in Excel and is widely compatible with other spreadsheet applications.
When will my organization receive the funds contributed?
After a complete reconciliation of all give2GROW donations, the Phelps County Community Foundation will issue two checks to those organizations not holding a fund at PCCF (one is for the total donations made during give2GROW less fees, and the second is for match pool funds). All organizations will receive a complete breakdown of the funds raised during give2GROW as soon as PCCF staff can complete the reconciliation process.
Will we receive donor information so we can send thank you notes to them?
Yes, you will. Organizations will have access to a list of donors through your donation report in your organization dashboard so that you can send them personal thank you notes from your organization.
